Chocolate covered truth
What is the story of your narrative?
Our legend starts when the jaguar-god wants to marry a beautiful woman, this young princess was the chief's daughter. They fell in love and lived together. They had three jaguar-like babies. Their names were Cao, Kauai and the littlest of them all, Yum Kaax. Each one had their own power, one could control thunder as another could control rain. The family lived happily for many years until one day, the once young and strong princess, fell terribly sick. Something had to be done! She was the goddess of fertility, and all the crops were dyeing because of her sickness. The three babies then felt themselves with the job to find the cure for their mother. They once heard a rare cacao bean was the cure to all sickness, and so they went on the journey to find it! Time past, until they met with the glorious pod! They gave it to their mother as medicine, and she was cured! The earth was filled with fertility once more and lived happily for the rest of the times.
What time period does it explain?
Our legend explains the time period between 1500 BC - 1300 BC.
Describe your group's process in writing the narrative.
To write the narrative, we separated the work by roles. Each one of the team members was given a specific work. Salvador was to do the introduction, I was to write the story, and Paulina, Alysa and Issac had to check any grammar or spelling errors and finally print the narrative.
